The Queensland State Chapter committee is dedicated to maximising opportunities available to AIMIA members in Queensland. Aiming to harness the growth of the technical, creative and business strands of the digital and interactive industry, the committee is focused on:
- promoting education and knowledge sharing between industry peers through exciting events, relevant seminars and interactive workshops
- providing networking opportunities to assist members in meeting new contacts and building professional relationships
- encouraging and supporting the development of new business, initiatives and skills throughout the state
- fostering and cultivating fresh and up-and-coming talent through special student opportunities and projects
- uniting all aspects of the industry - from interactive and creative agencies to media buying agencies, developers, programmers, technical groups and clients - anyone and everyone who is involved in digital
- creating and maintaining a robust information platform detailing applicable event listings and other associated activity
- making sure working in the Queensland digital industry is fun and rewarding!
